Nuno Felt Scarf in Black with Ribbons

Fun and Cozy Black Nuno Felt Scarf. The flower shapes are cut from prefelt which is a merino wool lightly felted fabric. Flowers are another one of my passions so it is a great pleasure to create special flowers to use in my designs. The flower shapes and ribbons are applied to a solid black prefelt piece and once I am satisfied with my design, I start the felting process
The piece is first totally saturated with soapy water and then the layers are pressed together. This is a very long process because a portion of he top layer needs to be pressed all the way through the other layers
